Platform 13 is our stall in the market; our community soapbox - a platform in every sense. It's where we set our stories, share our ideas and pin up the notes that shape our journey.
Rooted firmly in France, the voice you will hear here is part rural, part reflective and part reverie. Some days you will hear insights on the French countryside, other days it will be musings on the oddities of our days in South West France. Field notes from the forest floor, tales of the people who are the quiet architects of village life. It is our thoughts and our hopes; penned with care, but not polished to perfection.
This is a living journal, with muddy boots; equal measures of wit and wonder - all with a practiced French accent. It's where we gather our thoughts and our words, before we begin to gather ourselves.

SUPPORT PLATFORM 13
Through your support, Platform 13 will transition from an idea to a movement. One that reimagines heritage country estates not as static monuments, but as living platforms for culture, connection, and change.
Our first proof of concept property is an 18th-century estate in southwest France perfectly poised for acquisition and development.
This stunning domaine, on 170 acres of woods, meadow and pasture, is the stage on which Platform 13's "Soulstice Immersions" will be set. Two-week, women-only residential experiences, where courage and connection meet. Yet our vision reaches beyond just one property and a single, static model. Platform 13 blends storytelling, hospitality, and stewardship into a fully scaleable format where belonging is not abstract, but lived.
France’s countryside, with all its history and humour, offers more than rustic charm. It offers space to experiment with how we live, think, and gather differently — around tables, ideas, and experiences that spark curiosity and courage.
Our "Soulstice Immersions", beginning in September 2026, will take place within this vision. But Platform 13 is broader: an evolving space where stories are shared, ideas tested, and voices amplified — open to all who believe culture and community can be created with purpose, wit, and wholehearted living.

Celebrations of all things edible in "At the table"; The French roots of everyday English expressions; Women of Note; A gentle reflection on which to ponder. "Brave Seeds" connects and binds us all with humour and honesty, maps and moments. Bringing back customs worth keeping and the things that Platform 13 loves...
